Have you walk though a school and looked at some of your kids, well take
a look there HUGE. Their fate lays in your hands. Heart disease, Diabetes,
any number of problems your going to have to deal with. Here's a tip QUIT
Super sizing, take then for a walk, go to a park, just get them away from
that baby sitter TV set and video games.
I
have gone through some research on weight loss, and to be honest with you
most of them just want your money and do not really care whether you lose
weight or not. Another words if you lost the weight you would not buy their
next book, volume 2. Stay focused and do your research. Here are a couple of
things you can do because I care about your kids and you had better start.
There is no cost for this information just some common sense.
Before putting your kids on a weight loss program there are a few things
I would like to share with you. There are a number of mistakes people do
when it comes to motivating their children to lose weight and staying at it.
So I thought I would give you a few tips to succeed with helping your kids
live a healthier life.
Lead by example! Many parents make the mistake of telling their
kids what to do instead of doing it themselves first. But kids don't do as
you say, they what you do! The ideal situation would be if you could lose a
few pounds as well, because then you could do it together. If you have kids
in need of losing weight, doing it by themselves will be hard. When school's
out they want to have fun and not having to worry about a diet. But if they
are reminded by your efforts and perhaps other family members as well, then
it becomes so much easier. Simply put, when committed to somebody else it is
much harder to quit! And it's more fun to do it together too! If you do not
need to loose weight, find something else, quit smoking, start exercising,
or ridding yourself of any other bad habit. Anything is better than nothing.
The Book
The Diet Solution
covers this topic.
Do not stuff the fridge with candy and chocolate! If your kids are
tempted once or twice, they might be able to withstand. But if constantly
being tempted, sooner or later they will give in. And once they do, it
becomes so much easier to do it just one more time, and then again and
again. Make the environment work for you, not against you! If you can avoid
the candy section all together in the food store. Don't have them stand
there staring at it.
Avoid TV and Computer games! Do not spend your time watching TV,
for they will too. Do not let them sit too much with computer games since
they are addictive and can be played all day and all night. Get up and go
for a power walk. It's great exercise and among the best ways to burn fat!

Avoid the fast food eat outs! This one goes almost without saying.
Cook the food at home. It is cheaper and healthier. Once again, it is the
environment working here. Avoid the fast food restaurants all together. Just
drive by without paying any attention to them.
Do not buy the 28-day course! A bad habit that has been set for
years will not be changed in a few weeks. It is a combination of the right
dietary program, the right attitude and persistence. Not an attack on your
children's body. They are in development still and need to evolve in a
steady pace. Just as a person who is starting out with weight training,
should not jump on to the professional athlete's program at once, so
shouldn't you nor you kids jump on to a quick fix program. You must let
joints, muscles, and skin evolve naturally and adjust to the process of
losing weight.
Focus on the achievements, not how much is left! All winners do
this. They focus on how well they did on achieving what little they
accomplished and focus on repeating that one thing. If you and your kids
together lose four pounds, it is not a whole lot. BUT YOU HAVE DONE IT AND
YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT AGAIN! Just repeat the process! Focus on the fact that
you lost four pounds and how you did it. Do not stare at the great void
between where you are and where you'd like to be. Do not compare yourself
with the ideal or other people. Focus on your success. Just repeat what
works. Before you know it you've lost six to eight pounds each and you're
all well on your way to achieving your goals.
So, in short, create an environment that works in favor of your kids.
Lead by example, set goals together, avoid fast food, and go for power walks
instead of watching TV. Do not go for quick fixes as they are not good for
your bodies, especially not for the younger ones. And finally, focus on what
you achieved and repeat that until you gain momentum!
Like I said before if you need more help then go buy this book
